You would be joining the New Zealand division of a global manufacturer of products used in the FMCG, industrial and agricultural sectors, with revenues in excess of $1 billion and operations in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and North America. The group is continuing to expand both organically and through strategic acquisitions.

This is a broadly based Profit Centre Management role, and includes responsibility for managing key client relationships, management of a substantial workforce, a processing facility operating on a 24/5 basis, and a variety of commercial activities including both local and offshore trading activities.

The opportunity will have broad appeal to high achievers with aspirations for continued career development. You are likely to be either an existing GM with experience in manufacturing, processing or engineering and looking for a new challenge OR an aspiring GM Operations with recent experience in either Transport, Freight and Logistics or the Industrial services sectors. Ideally Engineering qualifications rounded off with either an MBA or Business Diploma are preferred. You must have recent experience in managing large work forces and a contemporary knowledge of related workplace legislation.

This is a great step for an ambitious individual keen to pursue a career in General management in a growing organisation offering tremendous career development opportunities. A desire to relocate overseas in the next 3-5 years is essential. Remuneration will be negotiated but is circa $200,000 plus car.
