Prior to developing his career in the recruitment and search industry, Pierre spent ten years in the Manufacturing sector in a variety of marketing, operations and business management roles.

He now has over fifteen years’ experience in recruitment and executive search and has successfully completed an array of assignments for local businesses through to Fortune 500 Companies.

Pierre has developed expertise in several fields including Manufacturing, Processing, Telecommunications and Business Services. Pierre focuses on senior appointments in the disciplines of General Management, Finance and Marketing Management. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Auckland University and has pursued graduate studies in business. He is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.

Jenny Le Noel


Jenny has been a Director of Executive Recruiters for over a decade. Prior to becoming involved in the Executive Recruitment industry, she spent ten years in Consumer Marketing roles in FMCG, and finally as the National Marketing Manager for an Australasian Financial Services organisation.

Jenny has also developed a significant understanding of the New Zealand building products sector and residential construction, having Project Managed for a number of new builds and renovations.

In addition to bringing up 3 sons, she has managed sports teams and undertaken Officer roles in community organisations. She is a keen swimmer and Treasurer of the Devonport Swim Club.

Jenny holds a Bachelors of Commerce in Economics and Marketing from the University of Auckland, and has completed Masters level studies in Marketing.

Jessie Kuriyan

Kylie Chye

Associate Consultant

Kylie joined the Executive Recruiters team in 2016 after relocating from Malaysia where she worked with multinational and local organisations in Southeast Asia on recruitment, assessment, on boarding, leadership development programs, competency framework design and employee engagement.

Kylie also brings to Executive Recruiters her ability to speak Mandarin and has completed assignments for clients who require Mandarin-speaking employees to bridge the gap between cultures in Auckland’s globalised market place. She is also the research manager in all executive search assignments. Over the years, Kylie has accumulated experiences across a broad spectrum of industries including manufacturing, hospitality, property, logistics, health, and retail.

Outside of the office, Kylie is currently working on a Masters of Management (Human Resource Management) with Massey University. She completed a Bachelor of Behavioural Science from Hardin-Simmons University, USA, graduating Summa cum laude back in 2011.

Steven Brown

Associate Consultant

Steven brings a wealth of experience to Executive Recruiters. He has over 20 years’ experience in Executive Search and Selection.

Steven’s focus is on the Technology sector primarily. He has considerable experience also in Government and Infrastructure as the sectors are irrevocably intertwined in New Zealand.

Prior to developing his career in the Search and Selection industry in the UK, Steven spent ten years working in the Government sector in a variety of operations and management roles. He started his career in Executive Search in 1993 with, a local Search and Selection company based in the heart of the UK. He quickly excelled in the industry and was asked to become the European Director of another Executive Search company located in Harley Street, London.

He worked on numerous high level search assignments whilst building up a Global network of “C” level executives, leading technicians and thought leaders.

He went on to create his own brands over the next decade when he and his partners established several start-ups including Reflextech and Blue Anvil Technologies (UK). The latter was a Business and IT consultancy which offered consulting services as well as permanent and interim staffing solutions. It was a Microsoft Sunday Times Fast track 100 award winning enterprise in 2003 and 2004. On the businesses becoming successful Steven reduced his equity stake, selling down to his co-foundering partners in both cases.

Steven has held several senior positions from Director to CEO but feels at the top of his game when he is working in Executive Search.

Steven arrived in New Zealand from the UK, with his wife and two children in February 2012. He continues to work on his work life balance and as an experienced Rugby Coach he loves nothing better than to working with people and teams who dream to become the very best that they can be. He has coached rugby in England, Europe and NZ and has tremendous success helping others. Even though he has worked with International Rugby Captains he still gets the most pleasure when teaching youngsters, the Art of Rugby.
